Dr. Mahesh Yalamanchili

Dr. Mahesh Yalamanchili is known for his calming presence, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to creating an elevated dental experience for every patient. His philosophy blends modern clinical excellence with the warmth of a hospitality-driven approach, making each visit feel comfortable, transparent, and personalized.


With comprehensive training in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, endodontics, oral and periodontal surgery, and implant dentistry, Dr. Yalamanchili brings a wide-ranging skill set to the practice. He is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) in Botox, fillers, TMJ therapy, and facial pain management.


A Northern Virginia native raised in Fairfax Station, he earned his DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry before completing a hospital-based residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. His experience treating medically complex and surgical patients shaped his calm, steady approach and reinforced his belief in compassion-centered care.


Outside the office, Dr. Yalamanchili enjoys exploring local restaurants, visiting wineries, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family—experiences that inspire his commitment to building meaningful, long-lasting patient relationships.

Dr. Wanda M. Goldhush

Dr. Goldhush utilizes her three decades of experience in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and braces, dental sleep medicine, and the management of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) to pursue her long-standing commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized dental care. Her treatment philosophy emphasizes collaboration and education, allowing patients to actively participate in decisions about their oral health. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, functional, and confident smiles through individualized care and evidence-based techniques.


A Virginia native, Dr. Goldhush grew up in the Hampton Roads area as the oldest of three children. Her early love of helping others and making people smile inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry—a passion that continues to drive her work today. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, followed by her Dental degree with honors from the Medical College of Virginia. She later completed advanced training in general dentistry at the University of Minnesota Dental School. She has continued her professional education in Dental Sleep Medicine, TMD, and Orthodontics.


Dr. Goldhush has been practicing at Alexandria Old Town Dental since 1991. She remains deeply committed to continuing education and staying current with advances in the dental field.


Outside of the office, Dr. Goldhush stays active by kayaking, swimming, and taking long walks with her dog, Lucy. She loves to read whenever she finds a rare quiet moment. She and her husband are proud parents of three children and reside in McLean, Virginia.

Dr. Anh-Minh Phan

Dr. Anh-Minh Phan was destined for a career in the medical field. At the early age of six, she carried around a first-aid kit she put together all by herself. She has been practicing dentistry for nearly 20 years.


Her love of combining art and science in her dentistry is evident. She thoroughly enjoys a challenge. Her specialty, prosthodontics, combines cosmetic and functional restoration to greatly improve a patient’s oral functioning and smile.


Dr. Phan thinks dentistry is a fascinating career as she feels she can be both creative in her treatment solutions and take different approaches to caring for each patient. Her compassion, careful listening to patient concerns, and expertise in sedation put her patients at ease.


She grew up in Vietnam with her parents and five siblings. Dr. Phan admits to an unceasing quest for knowledge, whether it’s continuing education courses to keep on the cutting edge of her profession or learning a new language. She would love to teach dentistry again. Dr. Phan lives with her husband in Falls Church, Virginia.

Dr. Denis Andrew Peper, Jr.

Dr. Peper’s real joy of and satisfaction in meeting and treating patients shows. He thrives on interacting daily on a personal level with patients while utilizing both his engineering and artistic talents in dentistry.


A compassionate and thorough treatment approach rewarded him with the establishment of his own successful dental practice in Arlington, Virginia, for 22 years. He has been performing state-of-the-art dentistry for nearly 38 years, including 24 years of complex Invisalign
® treatment since its origin in 1999. Dr. Peper joined Dr. Longman’s practice in 2011. He was drawn to the warm family environment Dr. Longman has created for his staff and patients here at Alexandria Old Town Dental.


A great proponent of attention to detail and mindful care, Dr. Peper has experience in numerous specialties: endodontics, oral and periodontal surgeries, and orthodontics including 24 years of Invisalign® experience. As an artist, his major specialty is cosmetic dentistry.


Dr. Peper grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Lynchburg, Virginia. He has fond memories of playing baseball as a child and grew up across the street from Jim Palmer. All-State high school baseball recognition led to a baseball scholarship from the University of Virginia. There, his passion for science led to a career in dentistry.


Dr. Peper resides in Alexandria and enjoys spending time with his 20-year-old daughter. He is an avid golfer, a boating and fishing enthusiast, and has a great love for the outdoors.

Dr. Courtney Killough

Dr. Killough was born and raised in Virginia and received dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish from UVA. She then continued her studies at VCU, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, the highest honor achievable by a graduating student, recognizing both scholarship and character. Following dental school, she pursued additional training through a residency program at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC. It was a transformative experience and her true honor to support our nation’s veterans.


For the past several years, Dr. Killough has worked as a dentist in top-rated, family-oriented practices from the Washington DC Metro Area to the San Francisco Bay Area. She is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-focused care in a relaxed environment. Beyond that, she enjoys educating her patients on the best options available to address their unique dental needs.


Dr. Killough is married to her college sweetheart, and together they share two young sons. She and her family enjoy visiting parks and playgrounds, perusing local farmers’ markets, cheering on their favorite sports teams, and trying out new coffee shops and restaurants. Melissa is the dedicated office manager at Alexandria Old Town Dental, bringing over 15 years of experience in specialist and multi-specialty dental practices. Her career in the dental field began as a medical assistant, where she quickly discovered her passion for dentistry. Since then, she has built a successful career in dental office management, excelling in high-pressure environments, leading teams with confidence, and streamlining operations to ensure a seamless patient experience. With exceptional organizational skills and a calm, solutions-oriented approach, Melissa is a natural leader committed to the success of her team and practice.


A strong advocate for professional growth, Melissa is a lifetime member of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM), holding FAADOM credentials and currently pursuing her Master’s designation. She actively contributes to the dental and local community, serving on several non-profit boards, including AADOM’s Dental Professional Learning Networks, Professional Dental Administrators of SNJ, and Dental Connection of Delaware Valley. She is also an engaged member of the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce’s Women 2 Women group and the BAM Leadership League, continuously enhancing her leadership skills and fostering valuable connections.


Outside of work, Melissa treasures time with her husband of 20 years and their three children, who are the center of her world. A Tommy serves as the Operations Manager at Alexandria Old Town Dental, where he ensures the day-to-day operations of the practice run smoothly and efficiently. A graduate of the University of Missouri–Kansas City, Tommy has been a dedicated part of the team since 2005 and brings years of experience in patient care and practice management. He enjoys interacting with patients and continuously expanding his knowledge of the dental field.


In 2012, Tommy completed the DAG Omaha Sleep Seminar, where he gained valuable insight into the treatment of sleep apnea. Since then, he has implemented patient screening procedures to help identify those who may benefit from further evaluation and care.


Outside of the office, Tommy lives in Fairfax with his daughter. A lifelong martial artist, he holds black belts in both Tang Soo Do and Chung Do Kwan Taekwondo. He enjoys traveling to new countries and staying active through regular workouts.
